Chris Koron (古論クリス Koron Kurisu) is one of the available idols in the mobile game THE iDOLM@STER SideM as one of the three winners of the New Idol Discovery Audition. He is part of the unit Legenders along with Amehiko Kuzunoha and Sora Kitamura. He is voiced by Wataru Komada (駒田 航 Komada Wataru).

Character Description

Chris is a former assistant professor with a passion for the ocean and a deep desire to convey its charm to others. As a professor, he was unable to hold the attention of his students, and when he saw the students gathering around the flyer for idol auditions, he thought that as an idol he may be able to show his students the charm of the ocean. He takes any opportunity possible to talk about the ocean, and often compares people and situations to sea animals, for example saying that he'd like to be able to sing like a whale.

He can come across as overwhelming due to his extreme passion for the ocean, though he only wishes to share his love for the ocean with others to make them happy as well; saying that he can relate to the feeling of wanting to share something you find beautiful with the people that you love.

Chris cares a lot about the other members of Legenders and feels at ease with them. He was seen as odd when he was younger, both due to his appearance and his behavior, even though he learnt how to fit in over time, he still felt like his oddities were broadcasted to the world when he was doing solo work. He was able to overcome his anxiousness by imagining that the cameras were Producer and his friends in Legenders, as he said that the cameras felt kinder that way.

Chris is a tall man with long beige hair and similarly colored eyes. He is most often seen wearing a wetsuit and jacket. His Legenders outfit consists of an unbuttoned jacket patterned with clocks and a blue peaked cap.
