Character Description

Cineria is an 18 year-old-girl who dresses in gothic lolita style and is quite skilled with computers. With a bright and cheerful disposition, Cineria tends to combine cute words and sounds with other parts of her sentences, making the sentences sound cuter, but also nonsensical. Cineria dislikes her real name, Ayane Suzuki, and insists on being called Cineria.

Game Appearances

THE iDOLM@STER Dearly Stars

Cineria is a fairly high-ranking net idol as well as Eri Mizutani's chat buddy, and tries to support Eri to the best of her ability whenever she can. As someone who looked up to Eri ever since her net idol days, she believes that Reiko Ozaki tricked the pure Eri into joining the "Dark Side" and tries to make Eri reconsider her choice from time to time.

THE iDOLM@STER Arcade

In 2010, when the arcade game was revealed to be taken offline, a promotional event started where she and several other characters were added to the game as rival NPC's. Because she had no character model, she was represented by a unit comprised of 765PRO idols.

THE iDOLM@STER 2

Cineria (サイネリア) is the name of a reporter in THE iDOLM@STER 2. This seems to allude to the extra chapter of the Innocent Blue manga, where she is a reporter for both ViDaVo! and Aigura! magazines. A unit by this name also appears on the "DO-TOP TV" ranking with the song titles "WORLD OF PAIN" and "LIVING DEAD".

THE iDOLM@STER Gravure For You!

While not featured directly in the games, an extra chapter in one of the magazines packaged with the original releases alludes to the previously mentioned statement of Cineria being a reporter for both the ViDaVo! and Aigura! magazines.

THE iDOLM@STER ONE FOR ALL

Cineria appears as the rival in the A3 Rank Up Festival, where she displays her skill, Cyber Fairy (サイバーフェアリー). It reduces the player's appeal interest rate while she bursts appeals. She appears in name only, as she does not have a character model, an image song, or an in-game voice.

THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls

Cineria appeared as a guest in the original Cinderella Girls mobile game. Her appearance in the Virtual Expert event came with cards consisting of new artwork.

THE iDOLM@STER Starlit Season

Cineria cameos as a possible rival the player can face. Unlike previous console games, Cineria appears with new artwork created for the game.

Trivia and Fan Culture

Trivia

  • Cineria calls Eri senpai although Eri is the younger of the two. This is mainly due to Eri's superiority at making internet videos.
  • The handle "Cineria" is probably a play on misreading the Kanji of her first name.
  • Cineria and Reiko Ozaki are not on good terms and often end up fighting or arguing when they meet.

Fan Culture

  • Many fans believe that the aforementioned "Cineria" unit from the "DO-TOP TV" ranking is a quintet unit consising of herself alongside Yumeko Sakurai and the three members of the Dearly Stars. It has a sizable fanbase on NicoNicoDouga.
  • Cineria and Reiko Ozaki's fighting is often attributed to their shipping factor by fans.
