Director Imanishi is the manager of the Cinderella Project in THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls anime. He usually offers advice to the Producer.

To promote Vol. 8 of the Blu-ray and DVD release of THE iDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS anime, players who bought the limited edition of the aforementioned physical release would receive a serial code to unlock the room item Office Sofa/Director Imanishi (事務所ソファー／今西部長). Imanishi would occasionally appear to sit on the sofa and speak (with voicelines). In one line, he refers to himself as Imanishi rather than Director Imanishi or just Director.
