Self-Introduction
Oh, you're the Producer? I'm Emi Namba! I was lookin' forward to talkin' to an entertainer so I auditioned. Ah no, there's no way I'm goin' to pass on this! It seems really interestin'! That's why I'm countin' on you!
Character Description
Emi is an aspiring comedian from Osaka who intends to start with an idol career. Typically Osaka-like, Emi uses the Boke and Tsukkomi routine while using Classical Japanese humor. She also has a Kansai-dialect which plays a role in her comedy skits. Emi always wears a pin that depicts a cute Super-Deformed octopus. Her favorite foods are Takoyaki and meat buns. She is very good friends with fellow entertainer Suzuho Ueda, whom she formed a duo with, and they can both be found hanging out while pulling jokes and pranks on each other quite often.
In the tie in Cinderella Girls Theater skits, Emi herself promotes her comedy routines often with the help of someone she can react with, such as her friend and fellow entertainer Suzuho Ueda or the Producer. She likes word puns and finds a rival of sorts in Erika Akanishi and Cathy Graham, however, she and Erika have formed a duo as well called ERI☆EMI. Emi loves taiyaki, and seems to have a severe problem with spicy takoyaki. She also finds out that Mayu Sakuma is a completely nice girl when not around the Producer, and that Satomi Sakakibara is completely ungraceful in lessons. Emi is training partners with Otoha Umeki.

- Emi is currently the only voiced Passion Osaka idol.
- Emi likes pouting her lips like an octopus when she eats takoyaki.
- Emi was also one of several idols to not receive new songs for a prolonged time. The time between Fuyuzora Precious and Diamond Attention spans about over two years.
- Emi was the second voiced Passion idol with the longest time with no second SS Rare card set, until the October 23, 2020 Permanent gacha. The first one was previously Ayame and the current holder is Suzuho.

- Along with Suzuho, Erika, and Cathy, Emi is also grouped with Sora Nonomura and Miu Yaguchi, whose forte is also comedy.
