My name is Fumika Sagisawa. Thank you for opening the door to a new stage. Let us weave this brand new story together.
Character Description
A college student who works part-time at her uncle's bookstore, Fumika is a knowledgeable girl who often finds herself lost in all different types of books, ranging from love novels to Greek mythology. Being well-versed on a variety of topics, it isn't uncommon for her to accidentally go off on a lengthy tangent while trying to educate her fellow idols. Despite that, Fumika has little to no first-hand understanding of the outside world when it comes to everyday life situations or even trying to maintain a casual chit-chat, resulting in proneness to anxiety and socially awkward behavior.
Driven by a desire to change herself for the better and turn over a new leaf, Fumika gets to slowly come out of her shell with the help of all the people she befriends along the way, as well as to experience a lot of the things she has never been able to relate to before.

- Fumika was voiced on July 31st, 2014 through her [Azure Boundary] SR card in the original Mobage game, as a result of placing second within her type in the 3rd Cinderella Girl General Election.
- In Starlight Stage, her image stat specialty is Visual.
- Fumika has grown very close to Arisu Tachibana since their appearance in the 22nd episode of the anime, where the latter stayed at Fumika's bedside after she had nearly fainted due to anxiety. The two share a sisterly bond, with Arisu somewhat childishly looking up to her as sort of a mentor figure and an example of what she thinks is a respectable adult.
- As of November 2018, they've been given an official duet by the name of BRIGHT:LIGHTS.
- Both also highly admire Minami Nitta, as evident from the ending montage of the 25th episode and their subsequent event appearances.
- Despite lacking stamina and being generally bad at exercising, Fumika is strong enough to effortlessly carry stacks of books.
- Her "Never ends" card was directly inspired from Tron : Legacy movie.
- She shares the same birthday with Madoka Higuchi.
Fan Culture
- When she was first revealed, Fumika was compared by some to Homura Akemi due to her appearance, shy nature before awakening, and her post-awakening outfit. However, these comparisons are less common now.
- She's been nicknamed "FumiFumi" (ふみふみ) by both fans and Mio Honda.
- She is sometimes depicted in fanworks with fellow bookworms Yuriko Nanao and Kazuki Tsukumo.
