Character Description
A somewhat unkempt and indoorsy otaku type who likes to draw manga; In fact, she likes manga to the extent that she mentions it for almost every hypothetical situation. She can give off the impression that she is physically lazy due to her appearance and the state of her home. Despite this, Hina is actually hard-working when it comes to her manga. Hina is initially very doubtful that she can become a cute idol which later took a toll on her self esteem; she believed that nobody else "sees her as one" based on the reactions that were exhibited when she was still in her tracksuit. However, with further encouragement from the Producer, unexpected kindness from the crowd, and observing herself in 'idol uniform' she swiftly gained confidence and realised her potential. She seems to be the kind of person who hates deadlines, often frantically adjusting her manga schedule at the last second. This indicates her carefree nature.
In the tie-in Cinderella Girls Theater skits, Hina is first seen preparing for a live event. She planned on taking off her glasses and putting on contacts, a symbol of leaving her otaku self behind, but is forced into wearing another set Haruna Kamijo made specifically for the event. She is a kind person, as she can be seen with other idols leaving present for Yukimi Sajo on Christmas Eve. Due to their laid-back natures, she gets along with Anzu Futaba. Hina seems to enjoy swimming and playing in the water.

- Hina is voiced as of October 19th, 2017 through [Starting Blue] SR card in the original Mobage game, as a result of placing fourth overall in the 6th Cinderella Girl General Election.
- Hina's surname may be a reference to the famous manga-ka Hirohiko Araki, who produced the famous and long running Jojo's Bizarre Adventure series. Fans also like to call her "Araki-sensei", just like he is called by his fans.
- She ends her sentences with "~ッス" or "~ssu" in Japanese, which is considered somewhat of a masculine verbal tic.
- In Starlight Stage, her image stat specialty is either Dance or Visual, depending on the card.
- She is shown to wear a track jacket on her unidolized basic card and over her shoulders in other unidolized cards. This is due to tracksuits being commonly associated with neets (shut-ins) such as Hina herself in Japanese media.
- According to her 2017 Idol Introduction, the idols she think could be a protagonist of a manga are Asuka Ninomiya, Akane Hino, Chika Yokoyama, Kana Imai, and Hikaru Nanjo.
