THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Self-Introduction
"It's impossible for me to become an idol… I always look angry and I'm not cute. Don't you think so? No matter what I… Huh? You don't think so? …Really?"
Character Description
Hiromi, when first scouted, lacks confidence in herself and her ability to be an idol due to her eyes and her resting face often being interpreted as angry or aggressive. She has difficulty smiling naturally and carries a hand mirror to secretly practice her expressions with. With the player's support, she is able to work through these insecurities and stand on stage with a dazzling smile.
Many of Hiromi's cards feature skillfully-made accessories, implied or stated outright to be handmade. In several Cinderella Girls Theater comics, she is shown taking inspiration from encounters with other idols to make accessories.
Despite being young, Hiromi is fairly responsible and takes her work as an idol seriously. If left without supervision, she takes initiative, practicing on her own and pushing her fellow idols to work harder. She is protective of younger idols and tends to defer to her elders for advice when possible, which has led to her to imitate other idols with sometimes disastrous results.

- Hiromi is voiced as of September 30th, 2017 through [Autumn Craft] SR card in the original Mobage game, as a result of placing ninth overall in the 6th Cinderella Girl General Election.
- The 148th Cinderella Girls Theater comic, featuring Hiromi and Airi, was redrawn hours after the original upload to match the censoring of Airi's corresponding card.
- In the preliminaries of the 5th Anniversary Election, Hiromi placed 15th in the cute category. In the final results, she placed 9th in the category, earning the spot of highest ranked unvoiced cute idol of the election.
- The heart and ribbon parts of Hiromi's signature resemble the kanji used for her last name, 関.
- Hiromi's 3D model in Starlight Stage shows that the ends of her side braids are tied together with a small ribbon. Depending on the costume chosen, the ribbon changes color.
- She shares her birthday with Kai Nishijima.
Fan Culture
- Her results in the 5th and 6th Anniversary Elections led to several food-themed memes among fans.
- After placing 31st overall in 2016, Hiromi was associated with Baskin Robbins and its 31 flavors, resulting in trips to the ice cream chain on her birthday and on the 31st of each month.
- After placing 9th overall in 2017, Hiromi was associated with Kiwifruit, a pun on "kyu-i", or 9th place.
- A common place of pilgrimage for Hiromi's fans is the Seki-Hiromi interchange in Seki, Gifu, along the Tokai-Kanjo Expressway. The destination has been popular for pilgrimages since 2020, when a local dairy brand, Sekimilk, released Seki-Hiromi interchange goods that happened to be on sale during Hiromi's birthday.
- In August 2023, the town held a "Seki-Hiromi Matsuri". This festival was promoted with a trumpet cover of Rakuen.
- She is sometimes depicted in fanworks with Hideo Akuno, who suffers from similar expression problems.
