Character Description

Itsuki is a woman whose natural talent and love for moving her body led her to become an idol. She shares many similarities with Yoko Saito, from their hobby to even their birthday, and both are usually depicted with each other, even in several units ranging from one of the initial units Light Green Surf (along with featuring Natsuki and Marina) to their trademark unit Heat Up Cheers (along with Tomoka Wakabayashi). Itsuki has a big appetite for meat and savory food in general. Unlike several other appetitious idols, she is confident enough to eat a lot in front of the Producer. At first, Itsuki usually wore casual clothes that are more suitable for sports, but as time goes by, has since been wearing a more feminine cloth daily, under advice from Kumiko.

In the tie-in Cinderella Girls Theater skits, Itsuki is amazing at athletics. Overflowing with energy, she finds it impossible to sit still for even five minutes. She has been depicted training with Midori, giving advice about free running to Haru, and jogging with Yuuki Otokura and Mahiro. She is good at rifle carnival games and proves to be kind when she gives her bear ear headband to Fuka Asano.

Itsuki, in preparation for a kung fu movie shooting session, had a noisy practice with Yuka and Aki after they got carried away from watching another kung fu movie, prompting Kiyora to silence them with her nurse pose, as though she was preparing her gloves for a surgery. When she took a little walk with the Producer, she brought him to the kebab stall that she usually visited during her college years. The kebab seller, seeing her now wear a more feminine cloth and bring the Producer, teased her about this, causing her to blush. When Itsuki escorted Shiho Makihara to buy some sweets for a gift to her fans, Itsuki mentioned about how they have high calories, which are bad for the body. The kebab seller invited Itsuki, who passed by his stall, for an extra-sized kebab to repay her kindness of gifting him a while ago, which raised Shiho's curiosity about Itsuki's behavior.

Itsuki's appetite-related confidence brought her a victory against Yumi in a competition of ehou-maki fast eating, after Yumi got distracted by the Producer who came to the room as the competition started. When Yoko brought a Rubik's cube to the office, Itsuki had a difficulty solving it, which prompted Tomoka to cheer on her. Yoko later praised the unit's unity for this.

Question: How many hours in a day do you spend exercising?
Itsuki: If I have some free time, then I probably won't be able to count them! #DereMail

Itsuki: I think making a pose similar to a cat stretching where you put your arms together as you raise your upper body would feel nice.
Question: I sweat a lot and I'm worried about that. When you exercise, Itsuki-chan, how do you deal with sweat?
Itsuki: I know how you feel! After all, I sweat a lot myself! I really understand your predicament~! And that also adds to the baggage we have to lug around. #DereMail
Itsuki: But, when exercising, you shouldn't pay much attention to sweating! Or rather, you could also think of it that you sweat a lot because you're moving a lot.

Trivia

Itsuki shares the same birthday with Yoko Saito. As mentioned before, both are usually depicted together.
- Additionally, the name Itsuki can be written as 斎, which shares the same shape and on'yomi sound as 斉 (the kanji from Yoko's surname).
- She also shares the same birthday with Sayoko Takayama.
Itsuki's surname contains nabe (鍋), the traditional Japanese cooking pot, which may explain her appetite.
Itsuki is one of the three Cinderella Girls idols to hail from Ishikawa. The other two are Miyo Harada and Kurumi Ohnuma.
