Character Description

Midori is a refined, calm national archery champion from Aichi. The archery aspect of her is played up as her main non-idol talent. She has been known to shatter target boards with her shots, and takes it very seriously when it comes to games of skill oriented on target aiming or hitting a bullseye. She seems to have lived a sheltered life, as she didn't know the dangers of alcoholic drinks when with other idols. She is close friends with Chiaki Kurokawa. As a duo, they perform under the name Brillant Noir.

In the tie-in Cinderella Girls Theater skits, Midori is depicted as earnest and beautiful, but also quickly proven to be a complete airhead. She easily caught up in fun and likes to play darts. Midori also seems to be well recognizable by fans, and is suggested to wear an archer styled swimsuit in order to boost her confidence.

In Starlight Stage, it is revealed that she is very popular among girls from her school's archery club.

Midori and Helen were the last unvoiced Cool idols to receive an SS Rare card set.
- In comparison to Miu Yaguchi and Misato Manaka (respectively of Passion and Cute categories), whose SS Rare card set each was released individually, the Cool category's ultimate two unvoiced idols received their respective SS Rare card set simultaneously.
  - Additionally, Midori is also the only non-initial idol out of the four idols.

Fan Culture

Fans sometimes group her with Hitomi Niwa, Chinami Komuro, Nagisa Aino and Tokiko Zaizen, since they all hail from Aichi. This group is dubbed the Group of Aichi Prefecture Origin or Aichi-ken Shusshin-gumi (愛知県出身組, Aichi-ken Shusshin-gumi) in Japanese.
- Coincidentally, both Midori and Nagisa are also part of an official unit named Ponytail Maiden Alliance (ポニーテール乙女同盟, Poniiteeru Otome Doumei), along with Noriko Shiina, Tomoka Wakabayashi, and Yuko Hori.
