I guess out of all the members here, I seem like the older sister.
Minami is a college student in her school’s lacrosse team. Although she’s smart and athletic, she found out what she really wanted to do when she came in contact with the world of idols during a time where she was unsure of herself. She’s the type who really cherishes her family.

Character Description

Minami is a 19 year old college student who loves to try out as many different things as possible, and being an idol was one of the things she wanted to give a try on a whim. She is in her college's lacrosse team and is very good at the sport, just like she's really good at most of the things she tries. Despite her accomplishments, she became an idol to live up to her full potential and better herself. However, it's revealed in the anime that her perfect aura is a bit of a facade. She can overwork herself to the point of collapse, all in the name of being the best she can be, and becomes very upset when she isn't able to live up to her own expectations.

Family is very important to her, and she wants to be a big sister to the younger idols. She has a little brother, and her "Papa" is rather protective of her. She is considered to be a great older sister by both him and her fellow idols.

In the talk track on her CINDERELLA MASTER CD, Nitta admits that she's never had a boyfriend and that she's a bit unsure about wearing skimpy outfits.

• Minami was voiced on March 31st, 2013 through [Goddess of Uniform] SR card in the original Mobage game, prior to her CINDERELLA MASTER release.
• In Starlight Stage, her image stat specialty is Vocal.
• The schedules in her agenda book are rumored to be noted down to the exact minute.
• She's extremely poor at Poker games.
• She also forms a unit named JEM Teachers, which its members are herself, Mizuki Kawashima, and Helen, which it was a parody of S.E.M.
• According to her Deremail Q&A on Derepost, she's frequently told her and her little brother look quite a bit alike. She states they're similar in personality as well, as they're both stubborn and hate to lose, and how this fact has occasionally caused arguments between them.

Fan Culture

• On 2ch and other image boards, the word sex (セックス) is often jokingly replaced with the word “Secrosse” (セクロス), a common Japanese slang that was often used to get around word-filters. Among fans, it became an inside joke associated with Minami as it also sounded like “Lacrosse” (ラクロス), which happens to be her hobby.
  
• After the anime, works portraying Minami as a sort of mother or older sister figure to Anastasia and Ranko Kanzaki are very common.
