Self-Introduction
"Hey there, Producer-san! From today onwards, the basketball club’s president, Nagisa Aino, will aim to become an idol☆ Juust kidding. Being an idol may not suit me, but I’ll work hard so it does!"
Character Description
Energetic and self-sufficient, Nagisa loves basketball and decided to balance the responsibilities of team captain with her idol work. She's a firm believer in seeing things for yourself and always faces challenges head-on. She has a small friendly rivalry with Kai Nishijima and the two compete to see who is more athletic. Nagisa also likes to write her own training schedules and shows them off proudly. Nagisa gets along well with Saki Yoshioka as Saki tends to be more boyish. These three form a unit called Hot Art Jumpin' (ホットアートジャンピン).

- Nagisa is currently the only unvoiced Canary Summer member.
- Kanako Mimura adores her as an all-purpose sports idol.
- Hitomi Niwa wants to beat her, although unlike Kai, she does not share the same kind of rivalry.
- She shares the same birthday with Atsumi Munakata and Pierre.
Fan Culture
- Outside of her Canary Summer and Hot Art Jumpin' units, fans sometimes group her with Hitomi, Midori Mizuno, Chinami Komuro and Tokiko Zaizen, since they all hail from Aichi. This group is dubbed the Group of Aichi Prefecture Origin or Aichi-ken Shusshin-gumi (愛知県出身組) in Japanese.
- Coincidentally, both Nagisa and Midori are also part of a unit called Ponytail Maiden Alliance or Ponītēru Otome Doumei (ポニーテール乙女同盟), along with Noriko Shiina, Tomoka Wakabayashi, and Yuko Hori.
- Fans commonly refer to her as Captain Nagisa.
- She is also more recently associated with Tinkermon from Digimon, as both share a similar hairstyle.
