- When she was training to be a seiyuu, she was also working part time and attending university at the same time.
- Mathematics is her favorite subject, which she majored in while attending university.
- Rei is a huge fan of the baseball team The Tokyo Yakult Swallows. Her old blog used to have an entire category dedicated to the Swallows.
- Because of her love of baseball, she is close with fellow iM@S seiyuu Yui Watanabe who is a fan of the Hanshin Tigers. They occasionally go to baseball games together.
