Shinkan Shoujo is a rival unit appearing on Episode 10 of THE iDOLM@STER Anime. They consist of three idols: Nozomi, Hikari, and Tsubame.
History
The unit debuted in Episode 10 of THE iDOLM@STER anime where they served as antagonists to 765 Production. Around that time of the series, Kodama Productions was more well-established than 765 Production and planned to sabotage 765's victory in the Idol Sporting event.
Members
- Hikari (ひかり) (voiced by Momoko Saitou): The one with long blue hair and a red flower on the left side of her hair. She is the most serious of the trio and was the one who made Yayoi cry after telling her she's bringing the team down. She later apologized for this in the manga that occurs in the same continuity.
- Tsubame (つばめ) (voiced by Tsugumi Higasayama): The one with dark brown hair tied into twintails with two yellow flowers and possibly the leader of the unit, due to being featured in the center. She appears to be sweet and innocent for the camera but behind it is rather sassy and manipulative.
- Nozomi (のぞみ) (voiced by Yui Shouji): The one with long chestnut brown hair with a side ponytail and a green flower on the right side of her hair. She is the sillier member of her group, as shown with her crush on 765 Production's Makoto Kikuchi. Cries after they were defeated at the finale of the Idol Sporting event, as she intended to ask Makoto on a date if they won. When Hikari points out Makoto is a girl, she exclaims she already knew.
