Shouya Chiba is the voice actor of Hayato Akiyama. He is currently affiliated with Σ7 (Sigma Seven), after announcing his promotion from Σ7e (Sigma Seven E) to the main branch on July 1, 2020. His hobbies are playing guitar, watching musical theater, and tarot/fortune-telling. In high school, he played guitar and sang in the light music club. Due to this similarity with his character, he often says it felt like fate that he got the opportunity to play Hayato.
In his youth, Shouya was a child actor affilited with Sanno Production, where he held a leading role as Coburoux in the kids anime Curry no Kuni no Coburoux in 2004. After deciding to go professional as an adult, he redebuted with Σ7e. His debut role was Hayato at 19 years old, making him the youngest voice actor at debut and overall in IDOLM@STER until Hitomi Sekine joined the cast in 2018 at 17 years old. After that, Shouya was the youngest SideM voice actor at debut and overall until Yuri Ise joined the cast in June 2021 at 18 years old.
