THE iDOLM@STER Million Live! Theater Days (アイドルマスターミリオンライブ!シアターデイズ Aidorumasutaa Mirion Raibu! Shiataa Deizu) or "Mirishita" (ミリシタ) for short, is a spin-off free-to-play rhythm game released for iOS and Android devices. It is based on THE iDOLM@STER Million Live!, and was first released on June 29th, 2017.

A Korean and Taiwanese version of the game was released on August 30th, 2019, but both servers were shutdown on January 28th, 2022.

Premise

After the success of the original 13 idols, the president of 765 Production gives the Producer a new project: the 39 Project (pronounced sankyuu, or "thank you"), consisting of 39 girls. Helping the Producer is a new secretary, Misaki Aoba.

Gameplay

Live

Live gameplay

The Live (ライブ Raibu) rhythm game plays similar to THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage. There are different difficulties for songs; for unit lives: 2 Mix, 4 Mix, 6 Mix and Million Mix (2M, 4M, 6M, MM for short), for solo lives: 2M and 2M+. Players can also watch the MVs for any song. The player needs energy for playing the songs. 2M costs 15 energy, 4M costs 20, 6M costs 25 and MM costs 30. For solos, 2M costs 15 and 2M+ costs 25.

The five possible judgments in the game, sorted from best to worst.

In a Live, players tap notes in the rhythm of the background music. Different kinds of notes will be brought in, with each having a different method of how each icon must be hit. Such notes include simply tapping the icon, tapping and holding down the icon, tapping and flicking a certain direction, tapping two icons simultaneously, and tapping and sliding a certain direction. The amount of notes can change by song and difficulty.

After tapping a note or flicking a flick note, the player will get a rating of Perfect, Great, Good, Fast, Slow, or Miss, depending on how accurately the note was tapped or flicked. Getting a Fast, Slow, or Miss resets the current combo to 0 and will decrease the player's life bar.

To clear the song, the player must not let the life bar reach 0 while playing until the end. Getting Goods and above (e.g. no Fasts, Slows, and Misses) in a single song results a Full Combo, and getting only Perfects results in an All Perfect.

Oshigoto

By using 20 energy, the player can do Oshigoto (お仕事 Oshigoto), or Work, and select Princess, Fairy, Angel or All type work; upon selecting, a random girl from that type (or any type from All) appears, and the player gains affection and fans for her, alongside rewards. Occasionally, a communication with the girl will appear and the player will get extra bonuses based on dialogue choices.

Fureai (Interactions)

The player can also navigate the theater and offices to find girls to fureai (interact) with. If a girl has a "..." bubble over her head, this will reward the player with items, affection and fill the producer gauge. Idols can also interact with each other. Sometimes an idol spontaneously get closer and talk to the producer/player. Finding the right idol to interact with is key to unlocking new main story commus.

Events and Event Types

The event schedule goes in this order:

  • Platinum Star Theater/Tune
  • Miricolle! ~MILLION LIVE COLLECTION~
  • Platinum Star Tour/Twin Stage/Tale/Bingo/Treasure/Trust
  • MILLION LIVE WORKING

Platinum Star Theater

Players can collect tokens from normal Lives. These tokens are used in place of stamina to play the event song. By playing the event song (and playing normal songs, to a lesser extent), the player can earn points. Players can unlock a special storyline by playing through the event and earning points.

Platinum Star Tune

This event plays very similar to Platinum Star Theater. Players can collect tokens from normal Lives and the event songs can only be accessed via the Event Page after selecting one of the participating idols for Consultation. On the Event Page, there are three features:

  • Bonus Point Deck: Players will receive a bonus percentage of event points when clearing event songs depending on the total appeal of this deck. Only the idols partaking in the featured event song (ex. Kaori, Fuka, Reika, and Konomi for RED ZONE) can be included, but multiple cards of the same idol count as well.
  • "Drama Listening" (ドラマ視聴): Located on the top right, players can listen to the digest version of the drama tracks featured in THE IDOLM@STER MILLION THE@TER GENERATION series.
  • Minigame (ミニゲーム): Located on the top left. From there, players can access a minigame themed around the event's participating unit. Note that the minigame does not give any event rewards whatsoever.

Miricolle! ~MILLION LIVE COLLECTION~

In Miricolle! ~MILLION LIVE COLLECTION~ (ミリコレ!~MILLIONLIVE COLLECTION~ Mirikore! ~MILLIONLIVE COLLECTION~), players can spend stamina on either Live or Work in exchange for a random amount of green coins which are used to roll on the Coin Gacha. Playing either Live or Work corresponding with the daily Type Bonus (All/Princess/Fairy/Angel) may add another Coin drop slot. On the final day, all of them will have the increased drop slot. On the Coin Gacha page which is accessed via the event page, there are 3 boxes with a finite amount of items (230 in total) that can be switched between at any time. There are extra rewards for clearing individual boxes as well as rewards for total Coins spent. Once all 3 boxes are cleared up, the Extra box will be available. The maximum number of coins spent at a time can be adjusted at any time.

Platinum Star Tour

Players are given the option to choose between 2M to MM for unit Lives, 2M, and 2M+ for solo Lives. Players are then given 4 choices: a song with a multiplier of 1.2x, another song with a multiplier of 1.0x, Work with a multiplier of 0.7x, and the event song with a random multiplier between 3.0-5.0x.

Players have to do any of the first three on any difficulty to earn progress points and event points. By getting 20 progress points, players are rewarded with an event token. Players are also rewarded with two event tokens by entering the event page every day. Event tokens can be used to play the event song on any difficulty to gain event points.

Players can unlock a special storyline by playing through the event and earning points. There are event point rewards and event ranking rewards to collect.

Platinum Star Twin Stage

Platinum Star Tale

Platinum Star Tour Bingo

This event plays exactly the same as Platinum Star Tour with one difference: bingo. Players each get a set of Bingo sheets with no duplicate numbers and cannot be reset.

Clearing the event song will give 3 Bingo rolls to fill the sheets, normal song 2, and Work 1. The given numbers will not repeat. Using stamina/token multipliers will increase the number of Bingo rolls accordingly. Bingos will net players rewards based on the number of bingos completed.

Platinum Star Trust

Platinum Star Time

Platinum Star Team

MILLION LIVE WORKING/Theater Talk Party

In this event, players can spend stamina on Live in exchange for coins that are used to exchange items on the event shop and event points which will unlock Talk episodes on the event page. These are split up by day. Viewing them for the first time will reward the player 25 Million jewels.

Gacha

The gacha is used to scout for new idols and to obtain cards using million jewels or gacha medals as currency. SSR cards unlock special outfits that can be viewed through the 3D mode in lives and can be used on any card rarity as long as it pertains to the particular girl. R and above cards have skills and center effects, which can increase scores and do other things.

Platinum Gacha

The Platinum Gacha is the regular type of gacha. The player can pull R, SR, and SSR cards using million jewels as currency. It costs 250 million jewels for 1 pull and 2500 million jewels for 10 pulls. A player can also pull one card once per day using 60 paid jewels. In a 10-pull, the tenth card is either a SR card at 97% or a SSR card at 3%.

Medal Gacha

In the Medal Gacha, the player is given the option to either use either one or all gacha medals to pull cards (R, SR, SSR) and costumes. Obtaining 100 medal points will give the player one gacha medal. Medal points are earned from Lives or Work. In contrast to the Platinum Gacha, a 10-pull in the Medal Gacha does not guarantee an SR or above for the tenth card. The player can carry up to 10 gacha medals at a time.

Rarity Appearance Rates
SSR SR R
Platinum Gacha 3.000% 12.000% 85.000%
Million Fes/Linkage Gacha 6.000% 12.000% 82.000%

Costumes

In Theater Days, costumes can be obtained in several ways: drop rewards, the platinum & medal gacha, event point & ranking rewards, through the event item exchange center, and the costume shop (DLC). To see a full list of the costumes available in the game, click here.

The default outfit of the game, "Shiny Trinity," is unlocked for an idol when collecting one of that idol's card for the first time. Costumes used in previous LIVE concerts before the game's release such as "Prologue Rouge," can be found as rare drops at the end of LIVEs, offers, and work. They can also be found rarely in the medal gacha.

Some costumes are only available as event rewards at 30,000 event points or voltage, depending on event type. Some time after the initial launch of the event, event costumes become available for the other participating idols for 5 Platinum Star Pieces.

Another

Some costumes in the game have "Another" (アナザー Anazaa) version, which are recolors of the original costume. Costumes that are rare drops and some DLC costumes do not have an another version.

To unlock an "Another" version of a costume, the Master Rank of that card must be increase to 4. This is done by giving that card Master Pieces or Platinum Star Pieces. Players can also unlock an event card costume's "Another" version by ranking in the top 2,500 players.

Some gacha SSRs have an additional "Another" version, called Another 2 (アナザー2 Anazaa 2), which is available when a card's Master Rank is upgraded to 5.

Songs

This is the list of songs in this game. MV Mode and Solo 2MIX+ Mode, as well as Unit MM mode for players under level 50, are unlockable by clearing songs at least once on any difficulty.
