Trainer (トレーナー Trainer) is an trainer available in THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls and THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage. She was originally voiced by Ayumi Fujimura (藤村歩 Fujimura Ayumi) until she was recast by Ayane Sakura (佐倉綾音 Sakura Ayane) on November 28th, 2022.

She first appeared on November 28th, 2011 as one of the initial trainers in the game.
Her card is available as an event compensation for defeating an "Area Boss", and also for many bonuses such as daily log-ins. She is also a Boss and Ranking Award for the "Starry Christmas" event, the "Idol Mochi Festival" event, and the "Valentine's Party" event. She then again appeared in the "Idol Training Camp #1" and the "Swimsuit Dream Live Festival".
The Trainer series of cards are special in that they have a very high attack cost and low power (meaning that they're essentially useless in Live Concerts) and cannot be trained. But when used as a partner in Lessons, they grant lots of power to the idol that's being leveled up.

- All the Trainers are sisters, which she is the second youngest.
- Her official name is Mei Aoki (青木明 Aoki Mei) according to "THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls New Generations" manga and other media.
- She shares the same birthday with Akiha Ikebukuro.
- All the Trainers are the first characters of the Cinderella Girls series and the fourth ones in THE iDOLM@STER franchise as a whole (following Yukiho Hagiwara, Kazuki Tsukumo, and Yuika Mitsumine) to be recast.
