Tsubasa Kashiwagi (柏木翼 Kashiwagi Tsubasa) is a Mental type idol available in THE iDOLM@STER SideM. He is one of three idols that can be chosen at the start of the game.
He is considered the main yellow representative of the SideM branch. As a member of DRAMATIC STARS, he also makes up the main trio of the game along with Teru Tendo and Kaoru Sakuraba.
He is voiced by Taku Yashiro (八代拓 Yashiro Taku).

Character Description and Personality
Tsubasa is a friendly and gentle former pilot who was scouted as an idol around the same time he got fired at his job for making a mistake. After he saw Jupiter perform live on concert with the Producer, the Producer said to him, "Don't you want to see the view from the stage too?". He says that he does. After starting work as an idol, he got scared of making a mistake again, but he talked to Teru who showed him the importance of going after what you want.
He is of rather large build, something that he is self-conscious about. He's usually the one to break up his group's bickering. As mentioned on his "Skills", he has a rather big appetite as he can eat an entire meal in 5 minutes. According to one of Dengeki Online's short interviews with the 315PRO idols, Tsubasa said that he would like to try working as gourmet reporter in the future. He also suggests on working on a cooking show with Teru where he could try Teru's food and said that it’d be perfect if Kaoru could explain the nutritional balance of their food.

- Tsubasa's given name means "Wing" referring to both his old job and his dream to reach the summit of the idol world. His surname means "Oak Tree" referring to his large build.
- According to the 2nd Drama part of THE IDOLM@STER SideM ST@RTING LINE-01 Jupiter CD, Tsubasa has a younger brother. His "Idols' Day Off" cards show the brother to be a child; in addition, he also appears to have a younger sister, also a child.
- In Tsubasa’s Side Memories story it’s revealed that he dislikes wasabi.
- He shares his name and its kanji (翼) with Tsubasa Ibuki.
