"Although I don't mind discussing work, firstly, do you have time for a cup of tea? Though it's fine if you don't dislike black tea… These tea leaves are very flavorful, so please take your time and savor them."

Character Description

A refined and classy 22 year-old from Akita, Yukino is a tea aficionado. Her favorite tea, and drink, is specifically black tea. Being proficient in making tea, and because of her great love of it, she is good friends with Momoka. Momoka often invites her to tea parties, and Yukino can be found giving other idols food and tea served on fancy cutlery. During her high school days, she joined her school's tea ceremony club as she thought she could master it, although she only ended up graduating as a regular participant herself, instead of such a master. She wears her hair in her signature long braid because it gets messy and out-of-control often.

In Starlight Stage, Yukino feels as if she hasn't seen much of the world, and feels she is ignorant. Having graduated from university, she first meets the producer when she is looking for work. Feeling unfit but wanting to challenge herself, she is scouted by the producer and her idol career begins.

In the tie-in 'Cinderella Girls Theater', Yukino's role as a tea maker is often highlighted. Two of her first strips even depicted her as a sweets supervisor for Hijiri. In a Wild West event starring Noa, Yukino landed a bartender role. While serving her trademark tea to Miyabi, Aki Yamato, Hajime, and Sanae, Hajime noted the genuine luxurious tea set, which caused the others to feel nervous. Yukino also landed the role of a student in a school class event starring Helen as the teacher, as well as a crab fisherwoman (later on also a big merchant) in a medieval RPG-like event starring Ranko as a warrior and Aiko as a thief.

During her preparation for another job which required her to change her usual style, Yukino was approached by Mika and Azuki for suggestion, while she later also encountered Anzu, noticing the lazy idol's "only one" style.

Yukino shares the same birthday with Hokuto Ijuuin and Frederica Miyamoto.
Yukino is one of five Akita idols in Cinderella Girls. The other ones are Saori, Airi, Setsuna, and Hinako.
Yukino's Mobage-exclusive memorial commu reveals that she has two house buildings; one in Akita, and another in Tokyo, the latter she rents.
